Chance Murdoch, a moon wolf, and his brother Luke, a blood drinker, battle each other throughout different time periods, beginning in the Old West, through Prohibition Era Chicago, 1980s Los Angeles and the far reaches of space in the late 21st century. Allies become enemies and foes are forced to team up with the fate of all mankind, werewolves and vampires alike hanging in the balance.
