Mike is the average guy living in middle class America with his new wife and a hectic job with a pharmaceutical company. Suddenly, one phone call from an old friend changes the course of his being. He finds himself torn between the bizarre requests he's receiving from his life long pal Dylan and his longing to live a normal existence with his beautiful wife McKenzie. As time goes by, Dylan seemingly appears and then reappears in Mike's world. Blackmail forces him to conceal the truth about his friends' ghastly crimes that span the east coast from Pennsylvania to Florida and back. Mike plunges deeper and deeper into the mind maze Dylan has created but he's well aware the secrets can't remain hidden forever. During this time, Mike is also dealing with gaps in his memory stretching as far back as his youth...periods others recollect but he cannot. Slowly, the pieces of the puzzle lock together with numerous twists and turns until the horrific crimes, the missing memories and his relationships with McKenzie and Dylan erupt into a frenzied climax.
