Glenis’s books are getting better each time. She has a really fast-paced style, and a talent for interesting and unusual storylines. This book especially rang true to me, as I have lived in small village and recognise her true to life descriptions of characters and events! I am a lover of mysteries with a twist in the tail, and am really looking forward to the next one.

This is a gripping read that grasped my attention from the first page. Immediately the reader is drawn into the action and this fast-paced tale kept me turning the pages. There are breadcrumbs of clues littered throughout the story – although not necessarily glaringly obvious of course – but the author manages to keep you guessing right to the end before the mystery completely unravels – with a very nice twist! It really is a great read! I highly recommend.

This book was on my book list and really looked forward to reading it. Completely different to her previous books, this one keeps you guessing right from the start. Is there a murder and if so where is the body? The police are baffled. Right to the end the story is full of twist and turns, so many clues bur are they red herrings? What are the villagers not telling and why? A must read for the thriller enthusiast.

Loved this book, and reminded me a little of a Miss Marple story. Like the way it was written, and had a good twist to the story.
